Ryan is a Texas native and was raised in Sugar Land, Texas. Ryan is a first-generation college and law school graduate. After receiving a degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin he attended South Texas College of Law Houston. At South Texas, he served as the President of the First-Generation Law Student Association as well as served on the board of the Student Bar Association.

He was also a member for CURRENTS: Journal of International Economic Law.

While in law school, Ryan completed a judicial internship at the 1st Court of Appeals for Justice Richard Hightower and clerked in the General Counsel and Contracts Division at the Harris County Attorney’s Office. He was a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association Leadership Academy from 2022–2023. Upon graduating, he received the Transactional Certificate Award.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys traveling, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
